I’m a specialist in repointing, or reinstating, lime mortars.

If you consider your house to be ‘old’ chances are it was originally built with a lime mortar. Lime is a breathable, (often) soft and flexible material. When cement is used on top of it homes start to get damp, bricks start to break and the whole thing tends to look awful.

There are different types of lime mortar we may end up using. From natural hydraulic lime to hotlime and everything in between we’ll make sure we’re using the right lime and aggregate for the job.
